do at Duck Mountain Ski Area and Surrounding Area. Here's an overview

SOLITUDE & RELAXATION:
If solitude &
relaxation is what you seek then take a stroll or ski on our Nordic ski
trails. You'll find yourself admiring the sheltering forest of tall
aspen and snow-laden spruce. Soon you'll notice the birds of all
shapes and sizes fluttering by from tree to tree. You may even come
across a valley meadow, where a deer, unaware of your presence, forages
quietly. The best part is that you are one and one with nature and
those you value most walking by your side.

variety of accommodations in and around Duck Mountain Provincial Park that

Duck Mountain
Lodge:
This facility is
located off highway #57, nestled in the heart of Duck Mountain near
Ministik Beach. The lodge offers a licensed dining room, cocktail
lounge, swimming pool, hot tub, store and 22 rooms for rent. Steak Pit
is also available, this facility can handle groups of up to 200 people.
They also offer 11 modern cabins and 10 townhouse units, and 21 Air
Conditioned Rooms and two conference rooms for all your convention needs
for rent year round.

WINTER FUN:
If excitement is
what you're after, then rest up, because there is so much to do! Of course,
spending the day at the ski hill is probably the most exciting part of your
day. To add to your ski hill experience try one of these fantastic
adventures:
SNOWMOBILING:
Duck Mountain
has received awards for one of the Top Snowmobile Trails in Saskatchewan
by Rider's West Magazine two years in a row. The snowmobile trails
lead from Madge Lake through to the ski area and on to San Clara,
Manitoba. This is a great opportunity for you to stop at the T-bar
cafe for a warmer up! The setting couldn't be a more spectacular
setting.
CROSS COUNTRY
SKIING:
If you have some
free time waiting for the kids to finish downhill, or just like to enjoy
a good aerobic winter activity, or for any other reason, give the cross
country ski trails a try. Cross Country Ski Trail equipment can be
rented at Duck Mountain Lodge. You'll be sure to enjoy them.
ICE FISHING:
There's
excellent fishing at Madge Lake, Duck Mountain Provincial Park.
Great opportunity for a fisherman, new or experience to catch a
Pickerel, Jackfish or Perch. Don't know where to go? Inquire
at the administration lodge or search for the mini-fishing-hut village.
Where there's huts, there fish! No question!
SHOPPING:
There's lots of
shopping to be done. Gift Shop Items, Jewelry, Sports Equipment,
Necessities, and more can be found downtown Kamsack, our local community.
