Here's what you can expect with the Duck School Group
Packages:
Once we receive your school booking request form, we will
reply with a confirmation of your booking along with further instructions.
Arrival:
When your school bus arrives at the Duck, one of our friendly
staff members will be there awaiting your arrival in our ski area parking lot.
Our staff member will escort your group into our Rentals Shop for a brief
welcome and Safety rules guidelines.
Rentals:
The students will all then be equipped with their skis,
(snowboards) poles and helmets (if requested).
The skis are numbered and each student is
assigned a number. The boots and skis are all preset so your student can go
right in, pick up there skis and boots, try on a boot to ensure it fits and
they are ready to go. If the boot does not fit, they take it back to
the rentals clerk to get a proper size. The skies are then reset and
the student is off to meet his or her instructor.
Lessons:
Once equipped and ready to go our qualified instructors will
meet the group outside and conduct lessons and evaluations.
Lunch:
Lunch is available to the
students at our Day Lodge. If you are interested in a prearranged meal, please
contact us at 542-4111 for menu prices and options.
Departure:
Following your visit, you will be contacted by a Duck
Mountain Ski Area representative so that we may get your evaluation of your ski
trip. This is a very important step for us as this is the only way we can
know how to improve our service and make your outings all that more enjoyable.
We appreciate any feedback you can provide.
Thank you for considering Duck Mountain Ski
Area for your next school ski adventure!
